Manifesto Design at the Marbella Design Fair ‘18
News of the inaugural Marbella Design Fair spread around the world recently, with even the New York Times Style Magazine recommending the exhibition to its readers. As a full-service marketing agency, we were naturally thrilled to participate and eagerly took the opportunity to attend both in a personal and professional capacity.
Manifesto director, Michel Cruz, was commissioned by Essential Marbella Magazine to interview Frank Stephenson, one of the leading lights of industrial design of his generation. With such iconic projects as the new Mini, the ever popular Fiat 500 and the BMW X5, Michel couldn’t fail to find their chat fascinating. You will see the results of the interview in May’s issue of Essential.
Proving our mettle as a respected marketing agency, we were also called upon by Aalto Exclusive Design, a high quality furniture and interior design company based on Marbella’s prestigious Golden Mile, to publicise their participation in the event. Their innovative, luxury design aesthetic proved an ideal fit for this high-end happening and we were delighted to assist in their campaign to both draw people to their stand at the fair, as well as to their cocktail after-party, held on the Friday at the day’s close.
Using our full range of skills, we produced and printed event invitations, wrote blogs publicising both the client and their event, carried out social media posting to raise awareness and liaised with the press, as well as PR in helping to organise the after-party.
The proof of our fruitful participation was in the success of the party, with the cream of Marbella’s design, architecture and business world enjoying music, cocktails and canapés at the client’s fabulous showroom on the Golden Mile.
We are already looking forward to next year’s show, secure in the knowledge that it will be even bigger and better than this year!
