Manifesto Design attends Marbella’s 1st Excellence Experience Event in La Zagaleta
On Thursday, May 10th we were invited to the 1st Marbella Excellence Experience Event organised by Drumelia and associated luxury brands and hosted at a magnificent contemporary villa in La Zagaleta.
It was a glamorous event in classic Marbella style – clear blue skies framing views of the green estate that falls away towards the Mediterranean in the distance. Guests arrived at the country club setting, strolled to the villa or were whisked off in golf buggies, and arrived on the imposing property’s forecourt to find it filled with the gleaming red bolides of the Ferrari enthusiasts’ club.
The beautiful super cars – not all of which were red, by the way – set the tone as guests were greeted at the door with champagne and other refreshments, entering the spacious salon of the home or gathering on its panoramic terrace or poolside lawn. Here more bars were set up, music played in the background and the invited guests enjoyed a soft, soothing breeze coming uphill off the sea.
More magnificent cars adorned the lawn, along with fine jewellery, a caviar bar and other luxurious stalls, while delicacies were prepared in the large, modern open-plan kitchen. It felt like one of the first days of summer in Marbella, and provided the opportunity to chat with acquaintances in a truly special environment. We would like to commend Drumelia and the other organisers for a wonderfully conceived, managed and executed event in the very finest of Marbella traditions.
