To achieve a synthesis between aesthetics and functionality is the aim of all pure design, marketing and copy-writing. Giving added value to a product or service by means of our design, words or ideas is therefore the central element of our manifesto

Camila’s Internship as a Graphic Designer

We have a new intern on our team! This week Camila Chemi began her internship in Manifesto Design, let’s meet her. She’s a Graphic Designer and Digital Illustrator.

Hello, my name is Camila and I’m 23 years old. I’m from Argentina but I’ve been living in Spain since I was six years old. At the moment Estepona is my official home, yet I’ve been living in Granada for several years while following a degree in Graphic Design. I’m currently doing an internship at Manifesto Design and I’m excited, as I know it will help me to learn new skills.

Meanwhile, I’m also working on my Final Degree Project, which consists of creating my own Brand Image Design and my own Website for an online shop. I’m also do some work as a Freelance Illustrator and I really want to combine both areas in the future; Graphic Design and Illustration.

I started working as a Freelance Illustrator one year ago because of the pandemic, when I decided to take commissions and opened my own Etsy Shop. It had been a dream for a few years and last year I finally decided to do it. The support I received on social media from the beginning was incredible and this has been one of the reasons why I decided to continue with it.

In my four years at the University of Design ‘Estación Diseño’, I’ve been working on Brand Image Design, Packaging, Advertising Campaigns, Motion Graphic Design and Web Design, but my greatest passions are Illustration and Editorial Design.

I also learned to work as part of a team with my classmates, which trains you to work together, to listen and to contribute ideas to the team. Nevertheless, my main objective is to learn more about Graphic Design every day.

I decided to follow this field because it has always been present in my life since I was young. I did the baccalaureate of Humanities and Art at the institute and fell in love with Art and Design.

I really want to work with professionals in this field and learn a lot from them. How they work, in which areas they move, how they keep in touch with their customers, etc.

I believe I will make a great new addition to Manifesto Design’s team!
