To achieve a synthesis between aesthetics and functionality is the aim of all pure design, marketing and copy-writing. Giving added value to a product or service by means of our design, words or ideas is therefore the central element of our manifesto

Intern Experience: Hadi’s Marketing Internship in Marbella

Hadi Krayem is a graduating senior student from the Marbella International University Centre whose educational background is Sales and Customer Service.

During the summer of 2020, he created social media platforms for offline business owners in the beloved city of Kuwait. Overall, he was most excited to start working in an agency to step outside of his comfort zone and experience the marketing industry from a new perspective.

Read about Hadi’s unforgettable experience to see what one of his days looked like interning with Manifesto Design!

Why were you interested in applying for your internship?

For years, I had toyed with the idea of working before graduation. When I found out that I could intern in the city of Marbella during my junior year, I jumped at the opportunity.

“Currently, I am studying International Business Management, with a concentration in Marketing, and I thought there would be no better way to explore my future career path than diving headfirst into the international world of Marketing.”

Although you can experience the “international” marketing without ever leaving your home, I really wanted to challenge myself and learn how to thrive in this industry with Manifesto.

A Day in the Life

Manifesto has been running for 10 years now and it has always been a very creative company, when it comes down to the culture and work environment. They are focusing on being very organized and productive without really paying attention to their branding and marketing in general, so this is why they need support.

The projects that I have been busy with during the internship:

  • Social Media – Using web-based online tools that enable people discover and learn new information, share ideas, interact with new people and organizations
  • Research – Helping solve business problems and answer questions
  • Websites – Ensuring content is up-to-date
Conclusion:

The experience here is nothing compared to what I learned in class. The best thing about my internship is that I get a lot of hands-on experience.
