Manifesto loves Olivia’s La Cala – Trendy beachside dining

When it comes to beachside dining, the setting doesn’t get much better than that of Olivia’s La Cala—a stylish restaurant serving international cuisine that is owned by reality TV star Elliot Wright.

This chic eatery is the perfect option for any occasion, whether it be a lazy lunch in the sun, a romantic meal or an evening of champagne and cocktails on one of the open-air terraces.

The menu is colourful and there is something to satisfy every palate, from light bites and salads to raw fish, traditional Sunday lunch, mouth-watering desserts and, of course, an extensive list of exotic beverages.

Upon arrival the atmosphere is warm and inviting, from the welcome received at the door by the man himself, Elliot Wright—to the service and live entertainment provided by some of the most talented singers on the coast. We highly recommend visiting on a Friday evening to listen to the soulful Zoe Louise from 8.30pm onwards.

The Location: Located on the beachfront of La Cala de Mijas, the restaurant is within walking distance from La Cala centre and there are a number of parking places nearby.

The Food: We recommend the goat cheese fritters, followed by the fillet steak with mushroom and white wine sauce. If you have room for it, the vanilla cheesecake is to die for!

Something Special:  Every request is met with a smile—Everyone, from the boss himself to the hostesses and bar tenders, are keen to make sure that all who walk through the door enjoy the whole Olivia’s experience and not just the ‘mandatory’ selfie with Elliot!
