Meet Noor – our new summer intern | Manifesto Design
Today we introduce to you our new summer intern, Noor. She has come to us for a summer internship in order to experience a real-life creative workplace. Noor is a current Second Year student at the University of the Arts London, studying a Bachelor of Arts in Design Management.
Noor was born in Marbella, Spain, and is of North African heritage. Having gone to an international school and grown up in southern Spain, Noor feels that she is very privileged to have experienced and been a part of many different cultures, as it has equipped her with the right skills to achieve great communication – for example, her ability to speak three fluent languages at the native level.
So what’s design management?
Noor’s course teaches her to develop her critical thinking and expression through writing skills. It also includes technical and design skills to help communicate ideas and management skills to place them in a public setting. During her time at university, Noor will attain a broader perspective of design management and cultures that includes an analysis of global, technological, subcultural and institutional cultures.
Noor has been very interested in the arts and the creative process, and from a very young age, she has been immersed in many different creative outlets, this being a reason for her application to Manifesto Design. She wants to create a path for herself in the design sector and during her internship will take on tasks such as social media, creative writing and design administration.
