New overseas marketing intern settles in
Hola! My name is Esther and I’m 21 years old. I am currently in my third year of International Business studies at the Avans University of Applied Sciences in Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
I chose to study International Business because I have always been interested in social media marketing and travelling to new places. I find it very interesting to experience other cultures and lifestyles.
For my studies, it was required to go abroad to carry out an internship, which was ideal for me. I was very excited for this opportunity because I really want to gain new experiences and learn more from professionals in the workplace. Due to COVID-19 this opportunity was taken away from me in September 2020. However, I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity of a marketing internship abroad, so I took a semester off and just worked full-time. During this work period I had a lot of contact with customers and helping to fulfil their needs.
Joining the Manifesto team
September 2021 came along and I received the news that we could travel to Spain again! Now that I am finally settled in Marbella and starting to do my marketing internship at Manifesto Design, I can’t wait to see what this will bring me. I am very excited to learn a lot more about SEO, the best way to interact with clients, to manage and grow social media account for clients, content creation and other marketing tools. Miraculously, I feel like I have already learned a lot within the one week that I have been working here.
In addition, as part of my internship I have to write a marketing and communication plan. Therefore, I will have to do a lot of research about the best way to promote a certain product. For this marketing plan I have until the end of January, however, in school we have already prepared a lot of projects for real companies and in this way I have already gained some experience.
Overall, my first impression of the Manifesto Design team is very good. I am very excited to move on with this internship and learn as much as possible while I am here!
