Producing in-house or branded magazines

More than just a conventional marketing company, Manifesto Design also adds significant expertise in content creation to make us specialists in copywriting, blogs and also the creation of magazines and brochures. Print medium still has its place
Now you might think that the printed medium is a thing of the past, and the world of today and tomorrow is entirely digital and online, but while it is true that most of our work has shifted online, conventional marketing still occupies an important position. We did notice a drop-off in the printed work after the financial crisis – because of diminished economic activity in a crisis, and because of a shift towards online marketing that is still in motion – but since the recovery around 2015, we have also started seeing a revival in print-related work.

This means we are once again designing printed branded material, brochures, flyers (to a lesser extent) and magazines. In the past we produced both lifestyle magazines and branded in-house versions, and now the focus is primarily on the latter, though moving away from the ‘catalogue/brochure’ concept of the past to actually incorporating above all a lifestyle feel and even message. Marketers now understand better that people come to places like the Costa del Sol because of the style of living it offers, and factors such as design and lifestyle are more important than ever to consumers around the world.

The printed medium has undergone a purge, ridding itself of the ‘noise’ and over-saturation that befell it around the turn of the millennium, and once again has taken up its role as a specialist medium that is proactive in marketing terms and particularly well-suited to luxury brands. For this reason we are once again happily producing editorial, designing luxurious brochures and creating attractive lifestyle magazines, most of which are aligned to a quality branded product or service, and offered as an extension thereof.
